2019 Huntington County Per Capita Income Growth Improves November 18, 2020 Report The Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership (NEIRP) released data today compiling the per capita personal income (PCPI) statistics for Northeast Indiana as prepared by the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis. Population growth and PCPI growth continue to improve in Huntington County. The PCPI growth rate in Huntington County was reported at 2.1% for 2019, increasing to $42,824 per person. Regionally, according to the NEIRP press release, individuals have $1,009 more in 2019 compared to the previous year. "The economic development community, as a profession, evaluates all sorts of data to measure the economic health of our Region. The data for Huntington County continues moving in the right direction," said Mark Wickersham, executive director of the Huntington County Economic Development Corporation. "This particular data is very Regional given that County of residence, not County of employment, is the basis. The NEIRP has taken on the challenge of 'moving' the numbers forward. It's a huge challenge and I appreciate their hard work," Wickersham concluded.
