Construction Underway November 7, 2019 Report Steve Kitchin of All-Terrain Conversions (ATC) welcomed property owners Mitch & Melissa Mounsey, County Commissioner Tom Wall and Mark Wickersham, of the Huntington County Economic Development Corporation to discuss the construction project under way at their facility on U.S. 224, just west of I-69 Exit 286 near Markle, Indiana. The local economic development officials were very excited and honored to offer congratulations support of the company's growth. The company currently employs 45 people and is doubling in size both in terms of square footage at the building and employment. New product opportunities have given the local division of the North Carolina-based company, the ability to hire approximately 45 more people when the building project is completed early in 2020. ATC designs, and manufacturers innovative mobility solutions for their customers. ATC equipment converts new, popular pick-up trucks (such as the Chevy Silverado) minivans, and SUVs, allowing individuals with mobility challenges to operate new, popular vehicles without compromising the style and amenity designs of the original manufacturers. The Company recently won the approval to add the Chevy Traverse to its menu of vehicles approved for conversion equipment.
