County Officials Celebrate Economic Development Recognition April 18, 2023 Report Huntington County Economic Development Corporation executive director Mark Wickersham presents County Officials with a framed copy of the recent Site Selection Magazine, which recognized the 2022 economic development effort of Huntington County as among the nation's finest. The Magazine ranked Huntington as the 28th most productive economic development effort among over 2,000 micropolitan communities (population less than 50,000) in the U.S. for 2022. This is the eighth time during Wickersham's tenure the local effort received recognition among the Top 100 communities nationally. "Economic development is a team effort and it's exciting to celebrate this honor with the team," Wickersham said. "I look forward to presenting a framed copy to the City of Huntington in the near future too in honor of their vital support as well," he concluded.
