Gladieux Trading & Marketing Company plans expansion

 

Gladieux Trading & Marketing Company, L.P., will invest $1.4 million to expand their facility in Huntington's Park 24 Industrial Park. The Fort Wayne-based company filed a Statement of Benefits Form with Huntington County Council requesting an abatement on the investment.

 

County Council voted unanimously to approve the request at their July 28 regular meeting.

 

Gladieux Trading & Marketing Company employs 78 at their Huntington location. According to Huntington County Economic Development, their "sister company" Gladieux Processing, Inc. - also located in Park 24 - invested $1.2 million in 2013 to expand operations, employing an additional 15 people.

 

"The Gladieux team is a fantastic member of our corporate community," said Mark Wickersham, executive director, Huntington County Economic Development. "We're very proud of them, as demonstrated by a unanimous vote of support from the Huntington County Council."

 

The company refines and markets petroleum-based fuel products throughout the United States via their Huntington and Fort Wayne facilities.
