Golfo di Napoli Surpasses Job Creation Commitment November 1, 2019 Report Golfo di Napoli Dairy & Cafe, which opened in Huntington County during late August this year, has already surpassed the job creation commitment made as part of the performance-based incentive offered by the Huntington County Commissioners. The Company and economic development officials celebrated the news that the Company now employs over thirty (30) people. The metric required to receive an incentive was the creation of twenty-two (22) jobs prior to December 31, 2019. The Company originally planned to have an estimated thirty-five employees (35) by the end of 2021 and is nearly two years ahead of that plan. Matt Cottrill, director of operations for the Company, was joined by Larry Buzzard, president of the Huntington County Board of Commissioners; Mark Wickersham, executive director for the Huntington County Economic Development Corporation; County Commissioner Tom Wall; and County Commissioner Rob Miller. Golfo di Napoli is owned and operated by a team of fourth generation cheese producers from Italy. It crafts and distributes locally-sourced, organic, and delicious-tasting Italian cheeses. The facility, constructed on forty (40) acres, is located on Indiana State Road 5 just south of Exit 278 on Interstate 69 in the southeastern area of Huntington County.
