Huntington Sheet Metal to Add New Equipment and Jobs

Huntington Sheet Metal plans to invest $1.2 million in new fabrication equipment. In addition the investment will come with a need for three new jobs. The total salary for those jobs is estimated to be $90,000. Huntington Sheet Metal plans to use an abatement to pay for the new equipment. The Huntington City Common Council approved the abatement with a 7-0 vote.

 

"It's good news for their workforce and their team and a demonstration of the market opportunities for the company," said Mark Wickersham, Executive Director of Huntington County Economic Development. "We're proud of them and look forward to continuing to work together to help the succeed. Wickersham said he is also appreciative of the council's vote in favor of the abatement.
