IMI's Huntington Facilty Honored

Huntington, Indiana --

 

Irving Materials (IMI) Huntington Facility was honored for the eighth time by the Indiana Mineral Aggregates Association for a Gold-level Excellence in Mining Award.  The February 5, 2009 award is based upon employee and community relations, management quality, and environmental excellence.

 

In commenting to the Huntington Herald-Press, Mark Wickersham, Executive Director of the Huntington County United Economic Development Corporation said, "We're very proud of IMI and are honored to have a long-term commitment to our community.  We (HCUED) want to offer our congratulations to another Huntington Company for the quality of their workforce and products.  Once again, it demonstrates that Huntington County is a very good place to do business."
