Lime City Elects New President

December 3, 2010 The Lime City Economic Development Committee held their final meeting of the year today at the Huntington University Dining Commons with John Easterday presiding. City Councilman and Lime City Member Jason Fields was elected the new President of Lime City Committee for 2011 with Dale Hawkins to serve as Vice President. The meeting also included a project update and year end report by the Executive Director of Huntington County Economic Development Mark Wickersham as well as updates by Mayor Steve Updike, Director of the Visitors Center Tina Bobilya, County Commissioner Tom Wall, City Councilman Erv Ebersole, and HCUED associate Kevin Kyle. The Lime City meeting was capped off with building tours of the former GOTEC and Stride-Rite buildings in the Riverfork Industrial Park.
