Potential $15,000,000 Investment Receives Approval for Tax Phase-In March 25, 2025 Report The Markle Town Council, at their regular meeting of March 19th, unanimously approved a request for tax phase-in by Sortera Technologies as the Company evaluates the potential to invest an additional $15,000,000.00 at their facility on Asher Drive in Markle, Indiana. Sortera brings state-of-the-art artificial intelligence, image/data analytics, and advanced sensors to the industrial scrap metal recycling and re-use industry. The Company originally announced its selection of Markle for their plant location in 2022.Town Councilman Blake Caley complimented the Company for it's corporate citizenship.
