Teijin Announces $110,000,000 Investment in Huntington May 12, 2022 Report Teijin Automotive Technologies, of Auburn Hills, Michigan, broke ground today for a new facility in Huntington, Indiana. The $110,000,000.00 investment in Huntington's new Riverfork West Industrial Park represents the largest single industrial investment in the economic development history of Huntington. "The story line really features three themes; the people, the land, and obviously the Company," said Mark Wickersham, executive director for the Huntington County Economic Development Corporation. "Teijin's investment launches the industrial park which our Community has been dreaming about for decades," he added. The Riverfork West Industrial Park is a collaborative venture between the City of Huntington, Huntington County Economic Development Corporation, Bippus State Bank, First Federal Savings Bank, and First Farmers Bank & Trust Company. The collaboration created the opportunity for a 172 acre park now anchored by Teijin Automotive Technologies. "The list of people who have worked on this opportunity is very, very long and it was a joy to see many of those team members on site today to thank Teijin for their commitment to grow in Huntington," said Wickersham. "Teijin purchased Lot#1, a 30 acre parcel, to become officially known as 2025 Progress Drive, Huntington, Indiana," said Wickersham. "We are so proud of Teijin and offer our sincerest thanks and congratulations," Wickersham concluded. Click Here for Additional Coverage
