Transwheel Corporation Expansion Tax Abatement Approved

The Common Council for the City of Huntington voted unanimously at their regular meeting on October 13, 2009, to approve a ten year tax abatement for Transwheel Corporation.  Transwheel is considering a major expansion in Huntington which would retain 157 incumbent workers and create approximately 29 new positions within the next few months.  The total investment is anticipated at nearly $2 million and potentially create a total of 65 new positions by the end of 2011.
